Carolina Beach is a really nice stretch of golden sand. Reasonable chair and umbrella rentals.
My AirBnb was oceanfront and got to wake up everyday to the beauty of the sea. I love Carolina beach because it’s for the grown and sexy. It’s not as hectic as Condado I find vendors come to you selling the most amazing food which of course I buy to support the locals and make my stomach happy. Will definitely be back again.
It’s a great spot to swim and enjoy the sun and beach, with clear water on that side of the island. It’s not perfect, as high tides and waves can be challenging sometimes, but overall it’s family-friendly and nice for spending time together. If you don’t bring your own, you’ll need to rent an umbrella ($10) and chairs ($5 each).
