Phoenix Mountain Preserve - 40th St. Trailhead

Great multi-use trails. Perfect for all levels of mountain biking. Some fun flowy bits and some chunky technical stuff too. Parking sucks get there early.

This is an amazing place to hike, bike, run, walk. Something for everyone. I mainly do hiking and the hikes here range from easy to intense.

Dog friendly trail. Took the L.V. Yates trails. I would say that trail is easy. Very pretty.

I've been hiking these trails for months now. When the popular trails are closed due to the Extreme Heat warnings given by the NWS, this trail is usually open. There are many trails that criss-cross but its well the time and effort if one is willing to explore. It's difficult to get lost here. However, one still needs to be properly equipped and hydrated.

My son and I line this hike! It’s walking distance from our house. He is 4.5 years old and is doing better and better each time? We even bought him his own water backpack!!
