Great area to see nature and learn about local wildlife and environment. Great for children and families. Great for a walk around as well. Plenty of parking and walking paths are decently maintained. I think the off road trail up and around quarry hill needs improvement though. Many of the signage fell off, so visitors may not know the meaning behind certain locations. Trail maps available, helpful staff and a local gem. Check it out!

Great park. If you are going to visit one Park in Rochester, this is the one to visit. Mellow to more challenging trails, pave trails, dirt trails, and cool views of old Quarry Hill Stone buildings and cement remnants. There’s a small pond, restrooms, and things for everybody, including a nature center.

Quarry Park Hill was a great little stop. The visitor center had snakes, fish, and turtles, which made it feel like a mini nature museum before even hitting the trail. The walk itself was nice, though the trail was definitely on the muddy side. And apparently the corgi convention was in town. Saw a bunch of them out there living their best lives. With those short legs and low bellies, the mud situation quickly turned into full belly-drag mode, but the dogs couldn’t have been happier. Muddy trails, happy dogs, and a solid nature walk. Hard to complain about that. 🐕🌲

Had a lot of fun, pretty trails within the city limits. Nice for some down time.

Lived in the area for 8 years never really explored this nature park, thought there wasn't much to it, boy was I wrong. I felt completely peaceful in the woods. Tons of trails, and a pretty river and bridges, wonderful hiking, feels like you are up north lost in the wilderness and not minutes away from downtown Rochester. Loved my day here. Highly recommend!!
