It doesn’t connect yet. Supposed to be 4 more weeks. I did ride down the road and on the sidewalk to get to the trail from downtown tarpon springs. The part that’s finished is just gorgeous. Nice asphalt and paths that go to the boat ramp and to anclote gulf park. These paths are excellent and brand new. Great for rollerblading. This was my first time on the trail and I really couldn’t be happier. Just an awesome awesome place to ride a bicycle. I did about 10 miles or so going all the different parts and to the dead ends.

February 7, 2026 Fletcher, Mom, and I walked the Key Vista Nature Park Rocky Creek Loop, all the way to Anclote Gulf Park, then walked the Coastal Anclote Trail from Gulf Park to Anclote River Park then walked the Anclote Coastal trail all the way back to Key Vista Nature Park total miles was about 5.5-6.0 miles!

This newer paved trail connects 3 Pasco County parks, starting either at Key Vista Nature Park or Anclote River Park. It's not long (3-4 miles), but has lots of shade and is not very crowded. The trail meets up with Anclote Blvd with plans soon to connect with Pinellas Trail in Tarpon Springs.

Beautiful addition to the great parks in Southwest Pasco County.

New trail that winds through Duke power land and has spurs which connect to parks on the Anclote Gulf or river. Those parks are there because of Duke energy's donation of the land as well. 3ventually there will be connectors with the Pinellas trail I believe.
