A good quick workout type climb. Very good views from the top with numerous connector trails to take you through the hills.

A good hike. A bit sketchy at first, but the views after 20 minutes were spectacular. Bob Hope House didn't disappoint.

Great place to hike, mixed trails from moderate to hard, with some narrow paths and loose rocks. The trail takes you up to see Bob Hope’s home and views of the valley.

Interesting hike. It's a little hard to figure out where to park, lot is small, easy to miss unless another car is there and lots of no trespassing signs add to the confusion. You will also feel confused as you start out. You will get a sense of walking where you aren't supposed to be as you start your way behind the trailer park, under a road, around the concrete supports for the many condos above. As you duck under some overgrowth, you will feel like you are going the wrong way, although there is only really one way to go at this point. You're heading downhill slightly, further towards the back of the trailer park and what's that? Some litter or junk? Nope, some bizarre Halloween decoration relics. Why? Who knows? But a few minutes later, you start climbing up and up and up through switchback and switchback. Now, the trailers are car dealers are far below you, and you are looking over the roofs of those clusters of condos you've always seen perched in the hill. There is absolutely no shade from here on out, hopefully you are hiking very early, or better yet, as the sun is starting to go down. You don't need much time before you are enjoying the same views as the rich and fabulous that live high on the hills. Finally, you can see that monstrous Bob Hope House up close! You can keep going, I've never gone for too long, but even just 30 minutes up, you get some nice canyon views, and can see all the way to the wind farm up north. Watch your step going down! This trail has better footing going up, in my opinion. There are many other hikes I enjoy more than this, even one that is only a minute or two away by car, but this is an interesting one that everyone should try once!

Small parking area right off E Palm Canyon and Rim Road. Trail starts just off to your left as you look uphill. Hard to see it's signs among all the 'no trespassing ' signs. But a very enjoyable hike. Saw Roadrunner birds!
