(from Google)Great trail with easy pathway to find and not too much of an incline. Perfect for an easy / medium hike with great sunset views!!
One of the most beautiful hikes in Palm Springs. Feels like ur on another planet. Steep in certain areas and easy in others. Best for those looking for moderate hikes. Not pets, parking is limited. Bring water.
So much fun and a good hike! Follow the trail signs and you’ll be good to go!
This trail has beautiful vistas of Palm Springs at every turn! Bring plenty of water and a hiking stick because it is a moderate to strenuous, desert hike. We saw birds, small lizards, and dragon flies.
Peaceful hike with beautiful city views We got the North Lykken Trail recommendation from the Palm Springs Visitor Center as we were looking for a moderate hike with good views, and it definitely delivered. The trail was peaceful and quiet—we were alone the whole time, which made the experience even more special. The scenery is beautiful, with a stunning view over Palm Springs once you get a bit higher. We didn’t complete the full trail but hiked for about an hour to a high point and back, which was perfect. A great option if you’re looking for a scenic and not-too-crowded hike near the city.
