Yellow Rock Overlook

Honestly this was probably the most beautiful hiking trail I've ever been on. Definitely recommend shoes with extra cushion very rocky but very doable. Absolutely gorgeous breathe taking views.

What a fun hike! The view is beyond words - even with the trees in winter. I can only imagine in the fall, spring and summer. The trail is easy to traverse and good for kids - however be careful on the rock ledge.

Really good hike to the top, not overly difficult but not an easy trail for some levels. The view is amazing and it's a popular picture spot, be ready for a crowd on weekends. We were there the 5th of July and it wasn't too busy. Really enjoy the trails in this park!

The Yellow Rock Trail in the autumn is great for an hour or two hike. The photos do not do it justice. It was my first time on this trail and I am glad I had hiking shoes because the trail is a mix of rocks (a lot of rocks from small to large) and dirt over semi-rough terrain. The change in elevation was moderate, and there were many people with kids and dogs. All were incredibly pleasant.
