Simply beautiful. Stayed in cabin 18. Truly believe that cabin may be haunted.... too many odd occurrences happened. Stayed from memorial Day (Monday) 2025 to Friday. Beautiful waterfalls. Take the devil's den trail and stay on the diamond trail. We took another trail that was unmarked and it took us deep into the woods. Go see moonshiner's cave and falls just outside the park. 10/10. Will definitely be back. I loved it

Holy cow it is a kick in the britches at times but the payoff is good. The trail was built in the 30s by the CCC and their handywork is still evident. Wear good fitting shoes.

The trail is marked moderate, which is probably most true for ratings - i.e. it is NOT easy! There are portions of the hike that you have to climb fairly step rocks or terrain that are not steps by any means and could be loose rocks or (if wet) could be slippery. If you are a hiker and hike more than a couple times per year, the trail will be very doable. There are some of the most beautiful rock ledges, small bridges, waterfall (in season), and cave sights (mostly all closed off, but you can still see into them and enjoy it). This is probably the 2nd busiest and most popular walking trail in the park (behind Yellow Rock) and is WELL WORTH you attempting it. Would not recommend for very small children and may be difficult for carrying a child. Would not recommend for anyone needing a cane or assistance. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves nature and adventure. It's 1.5 miles, so it's a one hourish hike if you stop and look at stuff. Be mindful of signs, there are two trailheads and you'll want to remember where you came in. The two are not too far from each other if you do happen to walk out at the wrong one, you just walk up the road a little (less than .25 miles) and you're at the other trailhead... no need to double back into the trail to right yourself.

Depending on which trail you choose, they can be suitable for anyone or only the truly adventurous. We took the Devils Den Trail at the bottom of the ravine across from the camping and bridge. Pretty challenging route with steep scrambles up and down shale rock. Plenty of caves to peer into. All are barred off to the public.

Amazing trail!! One of my favorites. Took us about an hour and a half with pictures. Not many other people on the trail on a weekday afternoon after the rain. Trail was kinda rocky and kinda muddy in some parts so it was a little difficult in the rain but still doable! Lots of rock formations, two waterfalls, and a nice walk along the creek. Decent elevation gain/decline but nothing too difficult there
