This morning my “regular vet” said my Coby needed to be put to rest. She and her nurse walked away and her nurse came back several minutes later to tell me they did not have the staff to euthanize him. It’s a Saturday, I have one sick boy, I receive devastating news and I got turned away. This caused me to panic and I started calling emergency vets in the area. CVS was kind and compassionate from the moment they answered the phone. Upon arrival, you could just see the compassion in the front desk workers’ face. She is the same person. I spoke to on the phone and I am so grateful for her. I am grateful for the entire staff at CVS as they were kind, helpful, and helped my boy rest peacefully without suffering or pain. Thank you for ensuring my boy passed peacefully, allowing me to be by his side throughout everything, and thank you for providing a comfortable area at a difficult time.

We are beyond grateful for the care and compassion shown to us and our dog last night. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness, patience, and genuine concern. The veterinarian took the time to thoroughly examine our dog, explain what was happening, and make sure we understood every step of her care. What meant the most was the empathy shown not only toward our dog, but toward us as worried pet parents. We never felt rushed or dismissed. Our dog was treated gently and with so much compassion, which made an incredibly stressful situation so much easier. It is clear that this veterinarian truly cares about animals and the people who love them. We left feeling reassured, informed, and confident that our dog was in good hands. We cannot thank them enough for their professionalism, kindness, and dedication. If you are ever in need of a vet who treats your pet like family, this is the place you want to be.

Our experience could not have been any better with the entire staff at CVS. From the front office staff, Abbey, the amazing vet tech and Dr. Christ, the surgeon, we absolutely loved them all! They took such great care of our chocolate lab, Charlie and we couldn’t be more grateful!

We began going to CVS after my Rottweiler was diagnosed with lymphoma in May. From the start, the staff was incredibly kind, compassionate, and supportive. They took the time to explain all options, answer our questions, and ensure decisions never felt rushed. I always felt informed and respected throughout the process. When we had to say goodbye several weeks ago, bringing him back to CVS felt like the right choice because of the trust and comfort we had with the team. I cannot say enough about how wonderful everyone was during such a difficult time. From the front desk staff to the veterinarian and vet techs, each person showed genuine care, patience, and empathy. They walked us through every step with compassion and said exactly what we needed to hear. The space they provide for saying goodbye is especially meaningful. It is calm and comfortable, allowing families to be present and say their final goodbyes with peace and dignity. I am deeply grateful for the care, kindness, and comfort they provided to our family. I started taking my cat here after being diagnosed with cancer in January 2024. We came here to do his chemotherapy treatment starting in April 2024. We completed his final treatment in August 2024. Fast forward December 2025, my cat is still in remission! We have follow up appointments every few months. I'm just so thankful for Dr. Burr and the staff. They have been so wonderful and they always welcome us with a smile.
