All Tails Vet

We take all our furbabies (3 labs) here. They are always so helpful, friendly, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend them. Whether its a routine visit or something much more difficult they are wonderful to work with. We have been to Jonesborough and johnson city locations.

I was pleased with how they took care of my baby girl. We went as a walk in and they got her in pretty quick. They told me what they needed to do and how much each thing would cost, which was great. She had a UTI which required an antibiotic. That was fine and they said to give her 1 ml twice a day for 10 days. I noticed around day 6 that there wasn't enough to last 10 days so I called and told them. They said no problem, you can come by and get the rest of it. Then I get there and they tell me it will be $40.98 and I asked why they were charging me the full price again when they hadn't given me enough to last the full 10 days they had prescribed. I was told oh, we're sorry...we give you enough to last 7 days and then you have to come get a refill to finish off the 10 days. That was never told to me by anyone there. Not at the visit or when I called. When I asked why I was being charged full price for the antibiotic when I should have been given enough to last the amount of days the prescribed it for I was told that's just how we do it here and you don't have to give her more. What...you prescribed it for 10 days, only gave enough for 7 and then tell me she doesn't need to finish out the 10 days! So of course I spent the money to get more because I want to make sure her UTI is fully cleared up and doesn't reoccurr but when they prescribed meds for 10 days they should have given enough for 10 days or at least explained to me it was only for 7 and I'd have to pay for more

Took my cat to Cherokee animal hospital for an injured paw and they botched it completely. Decided to take her to All Tails on a recommendation from a coworker and the care we received was extraordinary. The techs were so kind as to come talk to me frequently when I was nervous to let my cat go back in the back after our previous experience with the other vet. And she has healed tremendously with their course of treatment. They were very affordable, very knowledgeable, and very kind. The techs were so gentle with my cat and it seemed like they really cared about what they do. The first photo is her foot after we started the treatment they recommended at All Tails, and the second is what the bandage that the other vet put on did to her leg. Will definitely recommend this vet, and will be coming here again!

I love All Tails for urgent visits when you can't wait for a regular vet appointment. Having a senior dog, it makes it really convenient to have somewhere to go when things pop up that can't wait, but aren't quite a life or death emergency requiring an er visit either (although I think they are equipped to handle emergencies). One office visit fee per year is also nice. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I leave feeling that all of my concerns are adequately adressed. I have gone to All Tails for routine care too such as blood work, urinalysis, vaccines, prescriptions, flea & tick prevention etc. Pricing is definitely the fairest of any veterinary clinic I've visited in my 16 years of dog ownership. You can walk in without an appointment most days until 4 pm, but you should try to arrive earlier as they sometimes cut off walk ins early when they're very busy.

I want to give a huge thank you to everyone at this clinic for their kindness and dedication. From the very beginning, when no one else would help us with our first rescue puppy, this amazing team stepped up without hesitation. When we brought in our second rescue, we already knew this was the only place we wanted to go. And by the time we found our third rescue who was in really bad shape the doctor took the time to truly listen to our concerns and referred us to someone who could help our fur baby. That kind of compassion means everything to us. A special shout-out to Mrs. Elke, who went above and beyond to help us get the right documentation for our pets to travel to Hawaii. She truly cares about the well-being of every animal that comes through the door. No matter how busy things were, she was always friendly, patient, and ready to help. Thank you all for caring so deeply and treating our pets like family. We are forever grateful! 🐾💛
