(from Google)Our Roscoe had a great wellness visit with Dr. Presnell and treatment from kennel cough. All staff were welcoming and professional with care! 🐾
This place is AMAZING. We took our eight week old kitten Beni, to this vet office this morning after he experienced some weird side effects from vaccines he received the day before (at another clinic) The vet and staff were incredibly compassionate, and knowledgeable throughout the visit. They took the time to carefully research treatment options because of Beni’s young age, and we really appreciate how attentive they were. They sent us home with antibiotics and had given steroids to help bounce him back! We are so grateful for the care Beni received today and feel very confident bringing him back here in the future! Highly recommend this office to anyone!
This is the only vet in my area willing to see my Sugar Gliders, but even given another choice I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff here are empathetic and explain things clearly. I recently had an emergency for my suggie and no emergency vet would take her and Robinson was booked; however when another patient canceled their appointment the facility called us right away to see if we wanted the opening. I really appreciate that! As for pricing...well medical help is never cheap but I will say that the prices I've been quoted here have shocked me. (In a good way!)
Edit to my review: 5 stars to the People’s Street location. TBD as far as my review for the Watauga Ave location/Downtown Johnson City. My Stray cat that had to have her tail amputated at the Watauga location after her two day stay with the People’s St location (all staff and experience there was amazing) had to be rushed to the Airport Emergency Hospital Saturday morning. Her sutures (which were dissolvable/internal) busted open. The kitty was screaming and blood was all over her recovery area. She had to undergo anesthesia and surgery to restitch her amputated tail. To put it simply, the last 36 hours have been horrendous and traumatic. I now have paid over $2,000 for a stray kitty to have a simple tail amputation after someone was cruel to her. I will have to miss at a minimum of 24 hours of work to tend to her as no boarding/care facilities are available on weekends. I will be contacting the Watauga location once my household has settled down physically and emotionally in a few days to discuss why this happened. Everyone was so kind and patient at both Johnson City locations. The entire team clearly cares deeply for animals and I cannot thank them enough for their prompt help with the injured stray kitty I brought to them. Absolutely outstanding people with a heart and passion for service. Even after the kitty’s surgery they were very available to answer questions and help with aftercare. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Robinson Animal Hospital has been amazing at every step of the way from our cats' first vet visits, routine exams and even end of life care for our senior dog. The staff at all three locations show such warmth, empathy and support. Scheduling isn't awful for non-emergency situations and all of the pet emergencies we have experienced were met with expeditious care. I feel like my money has been well spent on my pets care here. Unfortunately vet care is expensive. However the piece of mind from knowing that my fur babies are loved and cared for and that the staff grieves and celebrates each pet's story is simply incredible. I find some solace in the passing of my senior dog because transfering his care to Robinson provided him with pain relief and better days than he had previously been experiencing.
