(from Google)Absolutely horrible experience and will be ever be bringing my dog here again. My sweet buddy is an old man who has done a lot of moving around with me which means we never got settled at a vet here in knoxville. because of this some records were a bit lost in translation and i had to get fully established as a new client. i did lots of research under his insurance to make sure i was at a clinic that would use the discounts. turns out not only did they not even register his instance. they were incredibly rude about it as well. I have gotten insurance for Buddy for the first time this year and because of this i sent the wrong information on the card. I was told to “call insurance to deal with it”. Insurance did not help because the vet would not explain to me what I needed to provide to them. I had to find it myself. I finally give them the right information after being ridiculed on the phone. This somehow made my quote INCREASE from its original price. I decide from that moment on i wouldn’t be going back anyways but I did have his last follow up appointment that I was told he simply would have to be walked out the car and brought back because everything was already taken care of. I sit here they bring him in. Everything seems fine until they ask me to provide payment for the follow up. I explain that I am confused considering I had been told multiple times I would not have another thing to pay for. They simply state that I am wrong and do not understand how that got miscommunicated but i have to pay. I asked for his records knowing i’d need them so i don’t have to come back which was also met with absolute rudeness and needless disrespect from the front desk receptionist. Needless to say I absolutely do not reccomend this vet and if you are an established client pay close attention to your bills because they are fishy.
Very nice and helpful! Thankful for Dr. Hawkins figuring out what's wrong with my girl, and her and Jose dealing with her sass. Not too bad on pricing either!
Yesterday my cat started throwing up violently so I rushed her to the closest vet to my house. Without an appointment or any history at this vet, Dr. Jeter and his team rushed to get her in right away. They ran bloodwork and x-rays and treated her and when we got home, she started throwing up again. Dr. Jeter had me bring her in again right away and sedated her and did another x-ray, which he didn’t even charge me for. He just wanted to make sure she was okay. I can’t thank Dr. Jeter and his team enough for taking care of my girl and for being so kind to fit us in during an emergency. Needless to say, I will be switching all my veterinary needs to Rocky Hill Animal Hospital.
I feel fortunate to have such a fine veterinary hospital in the Rocky Hill neighborhood where I live. The vets and techs and office staff have all offered outstanding care for my dogs, both past and present at a very reasonable cost. My current pup trots right in the door without hesitation, knowing he will be treated with kindness.
2/3 of my dogs had their annual exams at the clinic today. This was our first vet visit in our new state since moving from NC. The receptionist was friendly when we booked our appt, and today we were greeted with a friendly face at the front desk, and had a wonderful tech who didn’t judge my crazy fur kids as they climbed furniture/being silly. Our vet was great and friendly as well! The tech even went above and beyond, and let me cash out at my car, since my crazies were ready to leave. The best part is the affordability at this clinic! I was relieved to hear my total today! Thanks so much for a great first visit!
