(from Google)The staff was very unhelpful with assisting in my dog’s post-op after being neutered. We’ve had a hard time keeping him calm, as he is a large dog and a puppy and he developed a strange cough 2 days after being neutered. They were very difficult to get ahold of and by the time I was able to finally get a response after calling and emailing for days, they told me there was nothing they could do. I cannot recommend anyone go here as their dog will be left to fend for themself instead of following up with the vet who originally saw them. Terrible.
I took my two fur babies to Pet Orphans to get spayed after reading the reviews. I received one of my cat’s invoices and reviewed it carefully. I always check what I’m being charged for. I expected the second invoice to come in shortly, and after adding up the totals, I paid. My first mistake was trusting the process instead of reviewing both invoices before paying. At pickup, the technician came to speak with me and my husband. He said the cats were fine, the procedure went well, and the only issue was that they had run out of the FVRCP vaccine, but that I supposedly had not been charged for it. I was certain I had been charged and showed him the invoice. He then went to the receptionist to discuss it. I showed her the same invoice, and the doctor looked embarrassed, insisting that he was sure I wasn’t charged. He then told me I could schedule a future appointment for the vaccine since it was already paid for. I even asked about bypassing the online payment process, and he said to just call the front office to arrange the date. Before leaving, I also reminded the front office to send me the remaining invoice for documentation. After taking my babies home, I received certificates that they were spayed via email, but still no invoice for my other cat. Later, I finally received the invoice, only to see that the FVRCP charge had been removed and replaced with a new charge stating that one of my cats was “in heat.” Coincidentally, the charge was the exact same amount as the vaccine they originally insisted I hadn’t paid for. There was no explanation, just the updated invoice. The technician never mentioned anything about my cats being in heat when he reviewed their status with us. He told us they were fine and that the procedure went well. Based on this experience, it appears they swapped items on the invoice to cover up their earlier mistake rather than honor what I was originally charged for. When I called to ask about it, the front desk told me the person who checked me out was a trainee and the technician was a temp. My response was simple: I should not be held responsible for their mistakes. The agreement for my fur babies to receive the vaccines I paid for on the primary invoice should have been honored. Although the front desk offered to waive my online payment fee, they still expected me to pay again for the vaccine. This situation was extremely upsetting. For this reason, I am giving them a low rating. Please, always review your invoices carefully and document your conversations with staff. I trusted them fully and ended up feeling misled.
We took our 5 month old frenchie/English mix to get chipped and spayed. Overall was a great experience, it was easy to schedule, the clinic had outstanding communication and efficient given the volume of furry patients. I felt the staff was very nice and welcoming to our little girl, the incision looked great, and healed nicely. I really appreciated the follow up from the staff checking in on her. Overall a great value for great care! Would highly recommend!
(If I could give 10 stars, I would!) Pet Orphans Lis hands down the best veterinary clinic I've ever been to. Their skill, compassion, and efficiency are truly unmatched. My dog had been struggling with an ear infection and a stubborn skin rash that no other vet could figure out. The incredible team here not only diagnosed the problem quickly but also provided an affordable treatment plan that actually worked. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much they genuinely care about the animals. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly reliable. They work with such speed and efficiency, but never at the cost of quality or compassion. You can tell this isn't just a job for them-it's their passion. What makes them stand out is not only their expertise but also their pricing. Pet care can get expensive fast, but Pet Orphans provides top-notch medical services at prices that don't break the bank. For anyone who loves their fur babies and wants the very best care without being taken advantage of, this clinic is the place to go. They earned my trust, my gratitude, and my loyalty. I can't recommend Pet Orphans LA highly enough. If you want reliable, effective, compassionate, and affordable care for your pets, look no further. * Thank you, Pet Orphans , for taking such amazing care of my pup-you've truly changed our lives for the better!
My husband and I had such a wonderful experience at this clinic. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel comfortable and cared for. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and professional, and we could tell right away how much they genuinely care about the animals and their families. The doctors took the time to explain everything clearly, answer all of our questions, and made sure we felt confident about our pet’s care. The front desk team was kind, organized, and efficient, which really helped the whole visit go smoothly. What really stood out to us was how much attention they gave not only to our pet’s health, but also to making sure we as owners felt reassured. We left feeling like we were in the very best hands. We’re so grateful to have found this clinic and can’t recommend them enough. If you’re looking for a place where your pets will be treated with compassion and you’ll be treated like family, this is it.
