We have been coming to this facility for a couple years without any issues. One time last year we visited with an attempt to trim my dogs nails. She was very scared and didn’t allow them to do it. We decided not to do it and just received vaccinations. Later on we received an email saying they administered an expired vaccine and expected us to just return and trust them again. I decided a year later to give them a chance and we just got denied service because they claim she can’t be muzzled (never had any history needing that or sedatives for vaccines.) the employee was hiding her name tag so I’m not sure who they were but we are very disappointed in this facility and they don’t seem to care about all of their clients. My dog has never had an issues with vaccinations here. Over the phone they said everything will be fine. They made me drive here and sit in a humid exam room for 15 mins and tell me they won’t do the exam (they never even attempted it, my dog was behaving normally) They kept pushing the same agenda on me anytime I tried to explain to them “she can’t be muzzled and she’s too nervous” yes for nail trimming. Otherwise how did we normally get all those vaccines in the last 3 years ?

I brought my dog to Randhurst Animal Hospital after he suddenly lost the use of both of his back legs, which is an urgent and frightening situation for any pet owner. During the appointment, Dr. Kumar was dismissive in tone, raised his voice when questioning me, and left the room while I was still asking for clarification about my dog's condition and available options. I did not receive clear or supportive communication during a very serious medical visit. After I expressed that I was uncomfortable with the interaction, a nurse told me word for word: "Dr. Kumar is a little biased right now." The nurse further explained that this was due to an interaction with a previous customer yesterday. I want to be very clear: the term "biased" was not my interpretation or assumption it was the exact language used by a staff member. Additionally, details about another client's interaction should not be shared with current customers in a medical setting, especially as an explanation for a doctor's demeanor or judgment. Being told that a veterinarian evaluating a seriously injured animal is "biased," for any reason, is alarming and inappropriate. It directly affected my confidence in continuing care at that facility. Because of the conduct during the visit and the statement made by staff, I chose to leave and seek care elsewhere. I was still charged for the appointment. I subsequently took my dog to another veterinary clinic, where the doctor was calm, professional, and took the time to clearly explain the situation and next steps. That experience showed how unprofessional my experience at Randhurst Animal Hospital truly was. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Randhurst Animal Hospital or Dr. Kumar, particularly for urgent cases where clear communication, professionalism, and emotional neutrality are critical.

I want to thank all of the staff here at Randhurst. We had to be referred from another hospital due to the complications with an intestinal pilcation surgery. Our fur baby decided one day that yarn all of a sudden looked yummy.. everybody was so sweet starting from the nice lady in the front desk all the way to Dr.Kumar and Dr. Peter. Everything was explained thoroughly and we felt more than satisfied. Thank you all so much, truly. Our fur baby is at home looking 100x better!

The front desk team at Randhurst Animal Hospital is truly outstanding. They are always prompt, friendly, and incredibly courteous — from scheduling appointments to check-in and follow-up calls. What stands out most is how genuinely they care about our dogs, Sadie and June. They treat them like family, not just patients. We’ve worked with several veterinary offices over the years, and the staff here are among the very best we’ve encountered. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail make every visit smooth and reassuring. We’re grateful to have found such a wonderful team. — Sid
