Island Life Animal Hospital

We went to Island Life for our new puppy’s 11 week visit. We were greeted with friendly faces and accepted all the compliments given to us about our pup’s behavior and cuteness. We then met Addie, the doctor’s assistant who answered our many questions. Dr. Olsen joined us and gave a great exam. Our dog received some booster shots and did not flinch. Dr. Olsen was gentle, kind and extremely knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions and concerns. We did not feel rushed at all. We are so happy that we chose Island Life for veterinary care.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Pierce and the entire staff at Island Life Animal Hospital. They are simply the best. I drive an hour each way just to bring my dog here for both her TPLO surgeries, and I wouldn’t trust her care to anyone else. Dr. Pierce’s bedside manner is exceptional. The compassion, patience, and genuine care he shows both his patients and their owners is something you don’t find everywhere. My dog, Nova, has gone through two TPLO surgeries with Dr. Pierce, and the level of care she has received throughout both surgeries and her recovery has exceeded every expectation I had. From Dr. Pierce to every member of the staff, they are knowledgeable, compassionate, attentive, and truly top-notch. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals they treat. Making the hour-long drive is worth it every single time. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough. I’m incredibly grateful for Dr. Pierce and the entire Island Life Animal Hospital team! 🐾❤️

As a dog mom of a senior Pom, I was so happy after Covid to find Dr. Gallo at Island Life Vet. Dr. Gallo truly listens and works with me to determine the best plan for Tazi. Dr. Gallo is caring and very gentle with Tazi, which is extremely important to me. The staff is very efficient and friendly as well. The office is always clean and seems very well organized. Thank you for taking such good care of Tazi!!!!

We brought our dog in on a daytime emergency to Island Life Animal Hospital. She had ingested a potentially poisonous substance. It was our first time to this vet as we are from Maryland visiting on a Florida road trip. The staff and Dr. Pierce immediately attended to our dog. Within an hour they returned her to us a bit groggy, but with a good report. We left very happy with a small bill and a healthy dog. Thank you to Dr. Pierce and the staff at Island Life Animal Hospital for taking us in, as strangers, and treating us like family. We are forever appreciative of the service this vet provided to us and our beloved dog. We highly recommend.

Island Life Animal Hospital was a wonderful experience. The clinic is beautifully decorated, very clean, and thoughtfully stocked with treats for pets and coffee and water for people. The staff were warm and welcoming, and Dr. John was wonderful. The visit was especially helpful for Bambina and her little anxiety. I'm really hoping this will help her feel calmer so l can enjoy the water without her getting upset when I'm a short distance away. I also hope my BF can enjoy more of his vacation, since he has been staying in the room with Bambina so I can spend some time in the water outside. Overall, I'm hopeful that she continues to feel better, especially for the ride home. They have some of the best-looking treats I've seen, I had to grab two not one, yet my dog won't eat them. Bambina is usually a very hungry dog and never refuses anything, so this is really unusual.
