If you are from Iowa you know about good maid-rites and Pete and Shorty's are very good!!! Also enjoy the ham and bean soup! Always good service but especially appreciate Mo for her great service, sense of humor and patience!

Great place for lunch! Had the pork loin sandwich and just like I had up in the quad cities! Everything was so flavorful and came out fresh! Jen Jen was super friendly and attentive! I am glad we stumbled upon this place for lunch!

Stopped for lunch 1/24/25 First time We had the 6 pack of shorty burgers ($19.50) Fish n chips (special on Friday’s) chili cheese dog ($8.49) clam chowder ($5.89) & a side salad ($5.89) Took a long time for food to come out but server came explained they had a new kitchen manager & food was coming out slower than usual Everything was very good! Salad super fresh Burgers just warm (not hot) Fish good I didn’t try the clam chowder or chili cheese dog but was told both were excellent Fair prices Cute atmosphere Server very good, attentive & always smiling! Bonus for having Coke products Full bar Nice size patio Lots of indoor seating Small crowded parking lot

Just stumbled upon this joint today looking for a great burger and a jack n coke. This place is amazing. The burgers were excellent. The cocktail was nicely poured and the cost to eat here was very reasonable. Seems to be a popular place with the locals vs tourists.

We stopped in before a Phillies vs Pirates game. We were greeted at the door, got a wonderful table and prompt service. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, the food came quickly and was good. The special was a burger and side for $10, which was good. The owner gave us quite a bonus with some upgraded comp tickets to the game…that was spectacular. Thank You, the game was wonderful and the seats were amazing. I highly recommend stopping by and letting them delight you!!!
