(from Google)There are some interesting features. I enjoyed the ponds. If I had more ability, I would explore so much more. You can't take your bike.
Unbelievably beautiful escape within town that provides walking trails of varying lengths and nature views of immense beauty! The wildlife is extremely present, which is always nice to see without having to trek too far outside of the city. Whether you have a free morning or a lunch break with no plans, this is the spot to go to for some fresh air and outdoorsy exploration.
Nice natural area right off of prospect road. Surprised to see that it actually had a bathroom. The bathroom is in good shape. The parking lot was well maintained as well. The only negative was that there was some broken glass in one of the parking spots. Other than that, no issues. There were a few cars here. But I only saw one person while I was there.
I've been curious about this spot for years...free parking. Restrooms. Flat walk on wide gravel path/ road. Fishing allowed in one pond only. No dogs allowed (didn't see that until I was done...sorry!) Saw a white tail in the protected area... No bikes allowed. Only knee- high brush. Meh. Would give 3 stars but the app won't allow me to remove a star.
Nice natural area, not a bunch of shade though. Short distance from downtown Fort Collins and about 20-30 minutes from Loveland, Colorado. Great for bird watching and catching a tan. Plenty of parking and only about five minutes away from a dozen breweries.
