La Batera Sport Bar

We had the mofongo with shrimp and beef. I love mofongo, but husband can take it or leave it. It was sooo good here, he said it was the best he had ever had!!!! Best kept secret in Ponce. Yummy 😋

Usually the food is very good and the service good enough. But the last time, we ordered using a delivery service called lunchera.co, and everything went wrong. Only half of the order arrived, after waiting one hour. Not only half the order arrived, but it was missing something and the salad taste weird, like it was spoiled. We couldn't never get in touch with La Batera, so the driver had to make a call and finally, without being able to contact the restaurant after more than 20 calls, the other half of the order arrived. This time the food was hotter and nothing was missing. May 2021: same thing, order was incomplete and when I called, they told me to go over the restaurant. That's the precisely what I don't want to do and why I ordered using lunchera.co

The food was very good. Waited over an hour to get served, the plates came intervently. First one order of four, half hour later. Second dish another half, and the remaining two dishes another half hour. Therefore we waited way too long. Again, food was good. It's a good place to take out. Too rowdy when we were there. Prices were modest. I'd try it again. And take out for sure. Buen provecho.

Amazing food and the staff super nice. Its a really nice place. The only -3 is that sometimes they have the music a little bit laugh. But a totally recommend. Ohhh and cool beers XD

I did not go to the business I ordered from them with an app called Luncheras. They brought it to my job. It was great. Got the grilled chicken with the sweet plantine mofongo. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the mofongo was just sweet enough. It even came with a little salad. Overall great meal, and relatively fast service.
