Campioni Pizza Birra & Tapas

Great spot for lunch! Food was on point. Came here on Good Friday. Our waitress was friendly and service great. We had the asparagus appetizer, wrapped in ham. Delicious! I had a mixed salad with grilled chicken—crisp, fresh and chicken was tender and seasoned nicely. We also had a margarita pizza. Unique pizza with a crisp crust like a bar pie type of pizza. I rated atmosphere a four because we came early and the place was empty, but everything was exceptional. Bathrooms super clean! Nice experience.

There was no waiting time, which was great, and the waitress was excellent—friendly, attentive, and very pleasant throughout our visit. The bruschetta appetizer wasn’t exactly as advertised. While it had a good taste, it wasn’t anything outstanding. On the other hand, the pizza was great—very flavorful, well prepared, and the large size was enough for four people, which was a big plus. Overall, a good experience with strong service and a standout main dish. I would come back, especially for the pizza.

In downtown Ponce, there are few places open in the afternoon. I decided to give Campioni a try, and I was very happy I did. I actually didn't want pizza, and I was able to order grilled chicken over mixed greens--muy deliciousa! I would recommend it as a place to take a rest, have a quick bite, and enjoy the excellent and attentive service.

Very Disappointing Experience The pizza we received was cold, and the cheese wasn’t even melted. The medallas we ordered weren’t cold either. Overall, the pizza was extremely disappointing. We’ve been here before and it was okay, but this time the quality was terrible. We honestly suggest trying another pizza place in Ponce—there are much better options. It’s a shame, because the location is great, but the service and quality have gone downhill. It really feels like this place needs new management that knows how to run a restaurant.

We went on vacation to Ponce and want it yo visit a different place to eat. We saw on Instagram this pizza place, and went for lunch. Love the structure of the restaurant, the food was great, and the service was excellent! We sat at the bar and asked for recommendations to eat and to drink, the bartender (was great) gave us recommendations and we accepted. Pesto pizza and Green Sangria, It was delicious! Recommend 100%. No parking avaliable.
