My cat Henry (Stuart) needed emergency surgery for a GI blockage. The staff here couldn’t have been more kind and accommodating! They performed the surgery with no problems and didn’t even charge for the follow-up appointment. There were no complications and he is literally good as new! I would recommend this place to anyone! I cannot say enough amazing things about Epic Veterinary Specialists and the incredible care they gave our sweet Winston. When your fur baby needs spinal surgery, it is one of the scariest experiences imaginable, and as a very worried dog mom, I had a million questions and fears. Dr. Peress immediately made me feel like Winston was his only patient. He took so much time to patiently explain everything, answer all my questions, and truly give me peace of mind during such an emotional time. A huge shout out as well to Dr. Curry, Bryon, and the entire surgical team who played such a critical role in Winston’s surgery and recovery. It was very clear Winston was being cared for by some of the absolute best, and that gave me so much comfort and confidence throughout this journey. The entire team at Epic was phenomenal from start to finish. Their communication every step of the way — especially while Winston had to stay overnight — meant the world to me. They treated Winston like he was their own, and that level of compassion and care is something I will never forget. Frenchies can come with many challenges, and trusting someone with your baby is not easy, but I truly felt Winston was in the best hands possible. Dr. Peress gave me reassurance, confidence, and peace of mind when I needed it most. We are forever grateful to the entire Epic team for taking such incredible care of our boy. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Epic Animal Hospital and the incredible team there. When our dog Croissant suffered a broken pelvis, we knew immediately we wanted her in the hands of someone we completely trust, so making the hour-long drive was never even a question. Dr. Curry is an exceptionally skilled and qualified surgeon, and this wasn’t our first experience with him. He previously operated on another one of our pets with outstanding results, which gave us total confidence during such a stressful time. Once again, he exceeded every expectation. From the very first call to post-operative updates, the level of communication, compassion, and professionalism from the entire staff was remarkable. They took the time to explain Croissant’s injury, the surgical plan, and her recovery process in a way that made us feel informed, supported, and reassured every step of the way. Most importantly, the care they showed toward Croissant herself was truly special. It was clear she wasn’t just another patient she was treated with genuine kindness, patience, and attentiveness. Knowing she was in such capable and caring hands made an incredibly difficult situation so much easier for our family. We are beyond grateful to Dr. Curry and the entire Epic Animal Hospital team for giving Croissant the chance to heal and recover comfortably. We would recommend them without hesitation to anyone needing advanced surgical care for their pets. They are simply the best.

The amazing doctors, surgeons, and techs at Epic saved Honeybee’s life. She will live a long happy life thanks to the emergency blood transfusions and splenectomy she received here. Staff were very kind and attentive. They tried to order only what was necessary for Honeybee to reduce costs. That didn’t work out due to her condition but I appreciate that they tried! She had to stay two nights and they called me frequently with updates on how she was doing and someone was always available when I called with questions. I’m very glad I brought her to this emergency vet.

I haven’t been to this facility however Dr Curry did a splenectomy on my Frenchie back in 2023 when he was located in Sarasota. It bought me 5 extra months with him. He was so incredibly kind, knowledgeable and made me feel at ease with the procedure. When I found out that he was at this practice I had to leave a review to ensure other pet parents your dog will be in the best hands. Thank you for giving me a little more borrowed time with my boy, Chunk 🫶🏽
