Imaginique Bengals

Chloe is the second bengal baby we have adopted from Imaginique cattery. She is nearly two. Chloe is the most affectionate cat we have ever had. She gets along with all of our other cats. Chloe is gorgeous and gregarious. She is frequently by my side and strongly prefers not to have a door between us. Our profound thanks to Treva for breeding our cat with characteristics of both beauty and a loving, playful disposition. We adopted our beautiful girl Porsche in January of this year she is almost 7 months. She is the sweetest, most playful, talks back and knows her name and commands, loves our dog (they are inseparable), has to be in the same room with you…until she wants her alone time and you’ll find her 6 feet high in her cat tree sleeping. We’ve purchased two Bengal kittens from Treva Cox at Imaginique Bengal’s in the past 18 years. Words cannot adequately express what a positive experience we’ve had with Treva and, of course, the kittens. Here’s our story: We first met Treva Cox in January 2006, after our first Bengal (Katarina), that we got from another breeder out of Chicago, passed away. We had Katarina for 12 years and absolutely fell in love with Bengals because of her. A few weeks after Katarina passed away, we decided it was time to get our next Bengal. We found Imaginique Bengals on the internet and scheduled an appointment to meet Treva Cox and her kittens. We spent time with Treva and her husband and met our future kitten (Katia). While spending time with Treva, we were impressed with how much she cares for her cats and kittens. She was interviewing us as much as we were interviewing her. She wanted to take the time to get to know us, making sure the kitten would be in a caring and loving home. Her enthusiasm and love for Bengals is obvious. We know Treva is very careful about the breeding cats she gets. She wants to make sure of the health history and temperament so that the kittens would be like their parents. Katia was a pure joy! The vet had often commented about her being “the cat who refuses to age”, and when she hit her teens that “they had 5 year old cats that didn’t look as good”. Katia passed away in September 2023 - just short of her 18th birthday. Up until the very end, she was very affectionate and playful. To say we were devastated would be an understatement! In October 2023, we once again reached out to Imaginique Bengals for our next Bengal kitten. We knew with Imaginique we would get a sweet, loving, playful kitten – just like we had with Katia. We’ve had our newest family member (Mazie) for 4 months now. What a breath of fresh air she has been. Very sweet, loving and playful with boundless energy – all Bengal traits. Everything Treva said she would be. We would absolutely recommend Imaginique Bengals and Treva Cox to anyone interested in a playful, loving and beautiful kitten. The two cats that we got from Treva have brought us tremendous joy; it is not by coincidence these cats are amazing – it is Treva’s care and dedication to ensuring high quality healthy pets. We recently purchased a Bengal kitten from Treva, and it has been an absolute joy. Our little girl has exceeded all expectations with her stunning appearance and charming personality. She’s incredibly social and loves being a lap cat, making her a delightful addition to our family. Next month we’ll be welcoming another one of Treva’s kittens into our home. We’re eagerly looking forward to meeting him and are confident he’ll be just as wonderful as our first.

We got our beautiful kitten from Treva and I’m so grateful for her excellent breeding practices. She’s 7 years old now and has always been sweet, energetic, curious, and really just the perfect girl. No health issues ever. Treva spent a ton of time educating my husband and I about the breed and shared her values for good nutrition. Unrelated to the breeder - if you get a bengal, I highly recommend that you get a cat wheel and train them to it early! Our girl uses hers all the time to burn off her extra energy and we’re so glad we trained her to it as a kitten.
