(from Google)Went for first time with my 13 lb dog. We love to hike & explore. Nice little park with NC history. Too many "gum balls" on the walking trail from the sweet gum trees. Made it a bit hard & slippery for me to walk.
Great little park for a mini hike or, say, a picnic with your family. No benches or tables, just the boulders and nature. Small but peaceful
The place is beautiful, but it looks a bit abandoned. There are no signs on the trail, even though it’s short. If you need help, you’re on your own. Not really a spot to spend the day with family — just good for a quick stop.
Super cool park , educational and a good exercise, I would be careful with any children here though as there was so much glass on the ground I was starting to wonder if I was in a landfill
TUE 2025.08.19 06:20 arrived and parked at the Ballantyne Corporate Park for my "2-in-1 Deal" : (1) morning walk to calm my anxiety walk before (2) my dental examination at my dentist at 09:00 😳 My route (~5 mi CW Loop): Parking > Stream Park > Big Rock > Parking. Stream Park and the neighborhood was nice and clean👍 though i was more impressed by Big Rock - a gem 👍👍👍 It was nice and cool 70s_F during my ~2 hrs walk. A few people were out and about; walking or jogging.
