(from Google)I visited this restaurant on a very busy Sunday in Old San Juan. We sat on the patio with an incredible view, a full moon overhead, and great ambiance—honestly, the setting was perfect. I ordered the frozen fruit punch, which was really tasty and layered with three different flavors. Definitely a highlight of the night. The food, however, didn’t quite match the experience. I ordered the Caprese salad for $15, and it arrived in a very small bowl with about three tomato slices—so small it barely felt like a salad. I added the garlic grilled shrimp for an extra $10, and that came with only four shrimp. Overall, it felt more like an appetizer than a полноцен meal. In hindsight, the $8 house salad would’ve been the better choice. I also ordered the surf and turf mofongo. Unfortunately, the steak was extremely tough, and the plate only included two small shrimp. For a $39 entrée, the portion felt underwhelming, especially with just a tiny side salad included. If you’re coming here primarily for the view, drinks, and atmosphere, I’d recommend sticking to the bar—it’s a great spot for that. But if you’re looking to leave feeling full and satisfied for the price, this may not be the best choice.
This restaurant is located inside Hotel Rumbao. The food can be hit or miss. We ate here twice during our stay. We stood around for a good five minutes waiting to be seated both times we visited. There was absolutely no one there each visit. The first was because we arrived 20 minutes before our reservation but our room still wasn’t ready. We ordered truffle fries, nachos and corn rubs with two Algo sexy drinks our first visit. Everything was tasty. Drinks were strong and delicious. Bill was $118. Wow! For three apps and 4 drinks. Definitely not a bang for your buck. Second visit we ordered the rib app and truffle fries and two algo sexy drinks. The ribs were dry, fries were greasy and barely warm this time. Bull was $70. Because of the inconsistency we never returned during the five days we were in San Juan. I wouldn’t recommend.
Located in the Marriott hotel -this is much better than many of your usual American hotel restaurants. The food was very good flavor and the drinks were equally enjoyable. The bartenders made an effort to be of assistance and were helpful.
This place was amazing! I normally stay away from hotel restaurants, but this one completely exceeded my expectations and was truly excellent. Started off with the tuna tartare on crispy rice..it was hands down the best I've ever had! Then I tried the BBQ ribs, which were cooked to absolute perfection. The fried rice was a standout too. It was so unique, different, and incredibly flavorful. The drinks were all fantastic, and the service was perfect. Attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend this spot, even if you're skeptical about hotel dining like I usually am. I'll definitely be back!
Kueros at Hotel Rumbao was a great experience. The setting was upscale yet relaxed, and the service was sharp without being intrusive. The staff respects your time and the restaurant rewards your palate. The music was amazing as well. I came here for lunch and ordered the Guava Baby Back Ribs, and they were exceptional being tender, richly glazed, and layered with flavor that hit sweet, smoky, and tangy notes in perfect balance. What made lunch even better was having the view of the cruise ship literally across the street. This added to the atmosphere seeing everyone enjoying their vacation.
