Vetco Total Care

I am REGRETTING making the decision to take my doctor for vet services at VetCo (Jurupa Valley). I have to go there every two weeks to get re-supplied because my dog is in kidney failure and severe hip dysplasia. The hours are few and far between. They are having trouble getting a permanent vet. I have heard that Dr. Singleton is interested in a permanent position, but is not being offered a worthwhile package of employment. She is an excellent veterinarian. Unless you provide regular business hour services and hire a permanent veterinarian this business will not succeed.

I scheduled an appointment through the app to get my dog vaccinated, but when I arrived, the front desk immediately told me I would need to pay $99 plus additional charges because this location is the veterinary clinic, not the monthly Petco vaccination service. Based on her tone, it felt like this misunderstanding happens often, because she mentioned it before asking me anything. I wish someone had called or reached out to confirm the details beforehand. I drove all the way from Riverside, It was a frustrating experience, and clear communication would have prevented the inconvenience. I won’t be coming here any longer.

I’ve brought both my cats in to Vetco and each time the Vet Techs and the Vet were so incredibly kind, compassionate, and helpful. They really take the time to make sure your pets leaves with a solid, thorough treatment plan and make sure to go over it with you to ensure the price and plan looks good to you before proceeding with anything. I’m very happy with my experiences here and feel assured that my cats are in good hands whenever I bring them in!

This is the second of my dogs to take to Vetco Total Care at Petco. Dr. Llamas and technician Chris were very kind to our 82 pound goofball Labrador Retriever. We appreciate the kindness the entire staff showed to us: we went there for dog training with Megan as well. We learned something, too!

I felt compelled to review because I had a genuinely amazing experience. I scheduled with Vetco because our regular vet was booked until next week and I really needed an appointment asap. I booked through the website and was pleasantly surprised to see they had next day appointments so I just went ahead and booked. First of all the service was so kind and timely. They called me ahead of time to let me know there would be a bit of a wait because they were short staffed but we were out of there within an hour or so. I believe we saw Dr. Heskett and she was super kind and took the time to walk me through everything and did not try to push any extra services or fees on me. She was super sweet and I could tell my dog was very comfortable because he came into his appointment shaking and panting and came out wagging his tail. My dog is usually really reluctant around men but he loved his tech, Christian. Overall it was amazing service and in the end it was very affordable. The exam fee is pretty steep, about $85 after the disposal fee and taxes, but I had the first time coupon which made the exam free this time. I will definitely trust them with Dante again. Thank you to the staff for the amazing service! I honestly did not expect to come out so happy.
