On Sunday, March 1st 2026, we had to say goodbye to our 17 year old cocker spaniel. We called around maybe 6 other clinics to inquire about their euthanasia services. VEG was one of the only clinics who immediately offered condolences, expressing sympathy and understanding for the difficult situation, prior to explaining the process and the price. We took her in the morning, and they immediately had a private room for us, with everything we needed to make her comfortable in her final moments. The staff was beyond compassionate and patient with us. They took great care of our girl. Their service includes complimentary nose/paw prints, which we are having framed, and are now considered some of our most prized possession. I cannot express how impressed I was with the staff, the process, and the service. 11/10 stars if I could for VEG and their wonderful people. Thank you for easing the burden of one of the most difficult decisions of our lives. We appreciate you.

Nobody wants their day to end up in an ER but if you find yourself with some bad luck, this is the ER to go to! The open concept is great, allowing the pets to stay in a calm enviroment with their owners. The staff is so kind and understanding to the animals. Titanium and I found ourselves there today after she inhaled something, we are still figuring it out but the visit was smooth. Natalie was so nice and Dr. Caldwell was knowledgeable and both put Titanium right at ease. Shes a pretty easy patient but she still gives this visit a 5 paws/stars up... but still hopes to never go again. 🤣

I can’t say enough about the team at VEG. I found myself there with my doodle with a foreign object obstruction. They were quick in assessing the situation, going over the treatment options, risks and upfront about the costs. The thing I love about this facility is that you are able to be with your furbaby the ENTIRE time!!! I mean, you can even watch the surgery if you are so inclined, I am not…. but they provide rooms that you can wait for or with your pet. They care about the animal as well as the parent as they are frankly tend to both. You can stay the whole visit if you choose, even overnight if needed and pop in and visit them at all times during their care cycle. It is comforting to know that. Because this was a pretty serious surgery, I was able to see multiple shifts and without fail, everyone was super pleasant and helpful. They all seem to enjoy being there. The facility is clean and comfortable and they do their best to make sure patient and pet parent are at ease. You never really want to have to go to a Vet ER, but I don’t think I’d choose any other. This is my 2nd time needing their services. The first was an unexpected euthanasia for a beloved pet and the care and compassion everyone showed helped make a terrible time a bit more bearable. So when my girl got sick, I knew where she needed to go. I really can’t recommend them enough. My sweet Ginger even got a red carpet exit which I wish I’d gotten photos of, but really… all in all…10/10. If you find yourself in an emergency situation…there really isn’t a better place to go

I was very pleased with the recent emergency visit to VEG with my cat, Tommy. Tommy was having some significant respiratory problems and the doctor and staff at VEG took him immediately in for triage and treatment. Everyone on staff that night was kind and compassionate and explained everything they were doing with Tommy. I was kept informed each step of the way and was given the estimate of the treatment plan ahead of time so that there were no surprises. Tests and bloodwork came back in a timely manner. Dr Caldwell was our doctor that night and he took time to explain tests and results and answered all of my questions. All of the vet techs were helpful and took the time see if I was comfortable or needed anything. I highly recommend VEG for emergency needs. Their service went above and beyond .

My Dr. was Caldwell, Nurses were Nola and Dylan, Assistant was Megan and the CEC was Michell. I came in with my Ferret in distress with an unknown issue. The team literally ran over and started working on her. The team work, communication, everything was extremely impressive. No time was lost on trying to diagnose her and figure out the issue. They did figure out the issue in less than 10-15 minutes and unfortunately the issue was terminal. They were very considerate, caring, and kind and I could not appreciate that more in that moment. If you have any emergency needs I would not hesitate to take your animals there. I will sleep better knowing that every option was exhausted prior to us having to let her go and with that team, I fully believe if there had been a way to save her, they would have been able to. Update 11/17: We got a letter in the mail today from the staff. All handwritten notes of support. Just further proving their level of care. We notified our normal vet of our pets passing and got a generic card in the mail, which is still thoughtful but not to this level. Thank you all who wrote that letter, you are truly fantastic and it means a lot.
