Our favorite spot in the El Yunque area. Short hike through the beautiful rainforest down to the swimming hole. The water is calm and beautiful. Wear a swimsuit, because you’ll want to jump in. Amazing place!
We were here first thing in the morning at 8:30, and came across only one other person. It’s a short and easy walk, and the water at the end was so clear. Since it was early, parking on the street was easy, but there’s not much space to park once it gets crowded.
The easiest trail in El Yunque. It has incredible views and is perfect for kids and the elderly. There are still some spots that can get a little tough though. At the end of the trail is a swimming hole with lots of fish
This is the start of the trail. For us. There was plenty of parking along the road. The trail is well marked and easy but will take about 20 minutes. It's a beautiful walk and at the end is a pool as you can see
