Beautiful! Don't let the relatively short distance fool you. It is a technical course, bring snacks and water.

This hike was pretty tough for me as a beginner, so I wouldn’t recommend it for a first time hike. It took us about 4 hours total (including breaks). There are a few official rest areas, but you can also find good rocks or logs to sit on along the way. About halfway up we had to do a little bit of bouldering to keep going, but reaching the waterfall at the top was totally worth it! It was so refreshing to cool off and soak our feet in the water that really helped with the heat and sore feet. The way down is easier, but there are still some uphill sections. Around the middle of the hike, the trail becomes shaded with lots of trees, which makes it more enjoyable and cooler, plus you can see the stream that flows from the waterfall almost the whole time. We went on a Saturday, starting around 10 AM and finishing at 2 PM. If you go, I’d suggest starting earlier because the first part of the trail doesn’t have much shade and the sun gets strong.

Good hike, my son and I did it. The initial switchbacks are steep and not shaded, but once you get past that a couple hundred yards, it is covered for the most part. In the end, you will hit a couple of other steep and narrow spots. Fun hike for the family and dog.

What a great hike. It's not technically hard, but it's definitely not easy. You will have to do a little bit of scrambling, walk through some water, and bouldering, but overall it's really enjoyable. Take your time and enjoy the shade of the trees and the stream.

Easy to moderate hike. About a 2 hour there and back walking pace. Trail runs along Adams canyon overlooking and following streams, brooks, and gorgeous tributaries shaded by evergreens. When hiking expect cooler temps around waters in the canyon and dress appropriately. The waterfall at the top is spectacular and worth the hike. Also along the right hand side of the falls when facing it, is a way up and around the waterfall itself if feeling adventrous. Though this path should only taken by experienced climbers. Bring a snack, stay hydrated, have fun and be safe!
