Fernwood trail

Nice trails. Beautiful bridge and water in the beginning where you step on rock a little stream of water in April. Not sure if water is constantly flowing all through out the summer. After you cross the stream the incline and decline begins. Not too difficult but a nice workout with nice views of the valley. Some call it a stroll and some like me broke out in a slight sweat! Enjoyable all around. Walking poles are nice to have, Great for hiking, walking, children, dogs, runners and bikers.

Great place for pictures! Lots of parking and lots of options!

Somebody's put a great deal of effort to keep the start of the trail nice and put in some cinder block paving stones to stop erosion. The first 400 meters is super steep, but it levels out and is super pretty from there. Bathroom is also very nice and well kept.
