We are so grateful to the team at Hope Animal Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA, for the incredible care they’ve provided to our sweet miniature schnauzer, Agnes. She’s been coming here since 2019, and throughout the years Dr. Ahmad and his team have been consistently compassionate, knowledgeable, and attentive. From managing Agnes’s allergies to guiding us through recovery after a broken back, and always supporting her general health and wellness, we’ve felt completely confident that she’s in the best hands. The care Agnes receives is thoughtful and thorough, and it’s clear how much they truly care about their patients and the people who love them. The team here absolutely saved my dog Qira's life. She would have died if it hadn't been for this wonderful place. The service and attention has always been top notch. We've been customers since we first moved to Fredericksburg in about 2018. Our little dog was chronically ill and they got her to beat all the odds and pull through. She was there every day from open to close until she was better. Dr. Ahmad cares more for his animal patients than any vet I've ever met. Thank you so much for everything you do for us and other clients !!!

My pup and I pulled off a true Hail Mary, and this vet understood the assignment. I could not be more thankful for a doctor who genuinely cares for his patients and goes above and beyond—far beyond what anyone could ever expect. Despite his own injury, he still made sure every one of his patients was taken care of. We had gone to him once before, and during that visit my dog was so timid that I honestly questioned if this was the right vet for us. But God has a way of showing us exactly where we’re meant to be, and moments like this made it so clear why this was our vet. He advocated for our travel waiver when he could’ve easily said it wasn’t possible. He didn’t take no for an answer. It was a Friday, the very last hour of the day, and instead of giving up, he pushed through so my dog and I could travel on Monday. Because of his dedication—and by the grace of God—we were able to make it. I will forever be thankful. The doctor and the entire staff played such a huge role in making this happen. Their compassion, commitment, and willingness to go the extra mile didn’t just help us—they reminded me that God places the right people in our lives at exactly the right time. All glory to God for guiding every step of this blessing.

Dr Ahmad took such great care of our girl, Mya! She had to get surgery rather urgently and he moved his schedule around to get her in as soon as possible. I received constant updates about her while she was there. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and reassured me that she was being well taken care of! We are so happy we went with Hope!

I spent a lot of time in the lobby today. It is obvious how much this staff cares about animals. They work SO hard, non stop. Watching them with each family and pet was heartwarming. The front desk (manager maybe? She is training some younger girls currently) Renewed my faith in humanity. What a wonderful, caring human. Her etiquette with families that have to say goodbye to their pet is absolutely amazing. She is absolutely amazing and an invaluable part of this vet clinic. I hope Dr A knows how lucky he is to have her. Every time I've come here, the staff has been so wonderful. Very, very caring and patient. They do their best to get patients seen promptly even though they're so busy. I've taken multiple animals here. They exceed my expectations from an emergency vet or a vet in general. And my dog really likes the doctor. Dogs are the best judge of character. Edited to add: this photo from 7 years ago in the office.
