I’ve had nothing but a positive experience at Wardle. Shawn, Mark, and Jennifer have all been so helpful during this time of year and for our first time of being chick owners. We came highly recommended to Wardle and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase chicks or is needing any feed or supplies. Jennifer has been so helpful over email and Facebook with responding back to messages within the same day or within 24 hours and she has given me the resources I have needed to thrive being a first time chick owner. Shawn and Mark have been very helpful in actually getting the chicks to me. They helped us get the ones that were high egg layers and gave us updates on when the chicks were coming. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful and we have 11 thriving chicks now all from Wardle. They even offer beginner chicks zoom classes for new chicks owners to sign up for. They offer a brooder box with all the supplies you’ll need for set up and start up, and they are always there when you need them. Easy to find and get to down in Wheat Ridge. Thanks for everything Wardle!! We will continue coming back and thanks again for everything! We love our new little babies! We got Lavender Orpingtons, Buff Orpingtons, Easter Eggers, Rhode Islander Reds, & Red Star. Our first batch of chicks are now a week and a few days old and then our second batch is just a few days old :) can’t wait to watch them continue to grow and thrive. Right away when we brought the chicks home they were eating and drinking and we didn’t lose any of them.

Wardle Feed and Simply is simply the BEST of the BEST. The chicks are happy healthy and amazing. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and kind. The store is always nice and clean. Not to mention you can get baby chicks or laying hens. If you haven’t checked them out, you definitely need to!!

Love Wardle Feed. We've been getting chicks, feed, advice, and other chicken supplies from Wardle for the past decade for our tiny backyard flock. The local honey is an added bonus when we stop in! Only problem is we are full up with our current chickens who are 6-10 years old (with two still laying!) so we can't come pick up new little friends this spring!

I’m battling ovarian cancer and wardle helped me purchase 10 chicks to help me with my journey. I thought a baby chick was going to die and wardle helped me help this little baby and offered a replacement. Their compassion and love was well felt. They have amazing prices and everyone treats you like family. I spoke with Jennifer and she is an amazing person who cares about her busy and the community she serves. They have an awesome pet and zoo and I’m going to bring the kids down. Love this place y. If you are looking for chicks or supplies for your farm no matter how big or small I would suggest going here vs the big box stores. I had to go to the cancer center first treatment and I asked if I could buy 20 cucks over the phone and pick them up afterwards and Murdochs was rude and lied to me. Wardle is my new store!!! A business that treats you with respect, and you won’t have to wait on hold for hours. A small mistake was made when purchasing some fowl. I brought it to the attention of an employee (Isaiah) and he immediately provided the contact info for both owners. Jennifer picked up the phone immediately. I spoke clearly and calmly about the issue and she did not hesitate to do what it took to make things right. Within 2 hours from my call, my issue was fixed. This is a business you can trust - everyone makes mistakes, but here you will get to speak to a human being and in my case, they made a good faith effort to repair my trust in them. I wasn’t infuriated or inconvenienced even slightly. Thank you Isaiah and Jennifer for valuing my business; I’ll be coming here for all my waterfowl supplies exclusively from now on.
