Young's Animal Hospital

This is the kindest, most compassionate vet office we have found in 6 years in Johnson City. Words cannot express how much we appreciate each and every person in the office.

I called for an appt they told me what they had, we went in for the appt Dr. Lamons told me that without any testing she was not able to tell me what was best for our Shelby, however she did say what she could do and told us to think about it and let her know what we wanted to do. Before too much time could go by our Shelby got very sick today 11/14/2025 my family has grieved Shelby dying all day the love and compassion these people showed us was nothing short of how they would want their family to be taken care of… they made my family keychains, they had a very well constructed box to put our Shelby in and wrapped her so sweet. They gave us the the best care today they was honest, compassionate and so loving! The staff was too! Our nurse Billie she was amazing, kind and gentle no rushing at all the fee was fair. We’ll be going to take Sadie out an other Yorkie there. As far as money I can’t tell you about much but as for the caring in that establishment I can tell you you can’t beat them! 5 out of 5!

I have taken several pets here and for the most part I'm satisfied with it. I'm not ok with the fact that you cannot accompany your pet to be weighed, etc. They are my kids and I didn't let my children walk away with a nurse or doctor and go out of my sight ... This should be more lax in my opinion. Their prices are middle of the road in comparison to other veterinary offices nearby. My one turn off was how quickly they wanted me to put my dog down 4 years ago. It didn't sit well. I've taken in another of my beloved babies since then and her care was good. Still slightly unresolved but very helpful in what could be next in her care.

Thank you for getting my poodles in so fast! I very much appreciate the help getting them inside. They all had a Spa day yesterday! Highly Recommend this Veterinarian. They always get one of the fam in when we need them!

so today i took my cat to Young’s to get neutered. i brought him in at 8:30 and picked him up a little after 3. when they brought him out to us they said he had peed on himself in the pet carrier, but he wasn’t happy with them so they couldn’t help him. the least they could’ve done was wipe him down and dry him off. there’s no telling how long he had to sit in that. of course he’s not gonna be happy with strangers who just cut him open. i feel like most people should have the decency to deal with an unhappy cat and somewhat clean him off, rather than letting him sit in his own pee right after surgery.
